Buy HUANYANG HY-Series VFD 220V 5.5KW 7.5HP Variable Frequency Drive CNC Motor Inverter Converter for Spindle Motor Speed Control (5.5KW, 220V)

BE AWARE OF THE FOLLOWING: This VFD is ONLY applicable to three phase asynchronous motors and does not support an external resistor (the function needs to be customized by notifying the seller before purchase). Even when the motor is turned off, the fan continues to run. If your motor is under a lot of load, please select a vfd with a higher horsepower rating than your motor or contact sales for model selection advice. If your motor operates at 50/60 Hz, you must adjust the Hertz parameter of the VFD to ensure that it operates at the same frequency as the motor.

input: single or three phase 220 volt. 3 phase 220 volts at the output. Frequency:0-50hz/60hz. 0-400h.

If you are unfamiliar with driving a variable frequency drive, make sure to read the instructions before operating a VFD.

You can simply connect L1 and L2 to any two of the VFD input R, S, and T.

Additionally, they are compatible with the Mach 3 controller.

It can be used to control the speed of a motor as well as a phase converter.

The control system of this item is based on a sine wave PWN (SPWM).

If there are any issues with the product after you receive it, please do not provide us with negative or natural feedback.

So far, this has proven to be a reliable inverter for powering my three-phase lathe from a single phase 240 volt source. I had to purchase a seven and a half horsepower variable frequency drive in order to run a three horsepower lathe. This drive is still unable to start the motor at a high speed without a 12-second ramping period first. By at least half to two-thirds, this manufacturer overrates the performance of their Drive system. In terms of value for money, this is a good buy; however, in order to ensure reliability, make sure to grotesquely oversize the drive you believe you’ll need for your application. However, because so many people have had bad experiences with them, several popular CNC forums have banned the discussion of these drives as a topic due to the large amount of negative feedback they have received. I must have gotten one that was built on a Tuesday morning because this one seems to run like a champ and has clocked in at a respectable number of hours in my welding shop. This particular device is used at Wheat State Welding LLC in Derby, Kansas, and is installed on a 15×60 lathe with a three-horsepower engine.
