I used this sander to sand down the surface of my table top and chairs so that I could re-stain them with new stain. It performed admirably and was simple to operate. Even though I haven’t tried the square base option yet, the triangular base option made it much easier to sand around corners and in tight spaces. The velcro sanding sheet system, in particular, appeals to me. In my experience, the sanders that are used to replace sheets with the clip system have never worked well for me at all. I found them to be extremely inconvenient, and I frequently found myself unable to complete my tasks because the sand paper would not stay in place. It is simple to use this system; you simply remove the old sheet and stick the new one on. It’s as simple as pie. This sander is fantastic.
