Buyers should exercise caution. This is described as a 110v 2.2kw spindle rated at 8 amps by the manufacturer. It’s not rated for 8 amps, to put it mildly. It is rated at 15 amps, which is far too much for the 110v 2.2kw huanyang VFDs, which have a maximum output of 11 amps for the motor settings when operating at full power. During acceleration, it produces a significant amount of heat. Tragically, they are selling this as a kit with the HY 110v 2.2kw VFD, with which it is incompatible in terms of amperage.
