Update: May 21, 2020, and it still works. This thing has saved me a lot of time and work.

After a year, things are still going strong. The 3-4 times a day, 5 days a week, I use this. If it broke down right now, I’d buy another right away. I’d do that right away.

My job is to clean cars. I bought this to use with a 4 inch wooden wheel brush to clean mats, interior carpet, headliners and cloth seats with. It’s great for what I use it for. One hand can hold the grip or the head with one hand, which makes it easy to use. As long as you don’t apply too much pressure, it stays at a steady speed. When you do, it speeds up. Great. Soft start is also good. In order to get a consistent job and a smooth machine, you’re going to have to get something like the Dewalt or Makita. I’ve only used it a few times to actually build and buff. Weight helps with compounding, and this tool isn’t good enough for that, I think. I can’t hold it in one hand like the heavier high speed rotary tools that have a lot of weight. There is also a problem with the pressure speed sensor when it comes to changing the color of the paint. That said, I was able to wet sand and buff a roof, hood, and decklid in about 45 minutes from start to finish. I don’t want to do this with this machine every day.
