This item was purchased because it appeared to be an excellent value for a do-it-yourselfer at home. I was not let down in the least.

Here are a few observations.

1. If you plan on doing this on a regular basis, you’ll probably want to invest in something more advanced, but if you only plan on doing one or two projects, this is a fantastic deal.

2. If you know how to operate the water supply, it will function properly. It relies on compression and tight seals to provide a leak-free experience, so you will need to take a few steps to ensure that you do not become frustrated. To begin, use silicon tape on the threaded fittings to increase the seal’s effectiveness. Second, tighten the fittings with a wrench that is the proper size for the job. Third, when you are attaching the hose, use two wrenches: one to hold the hose in place and another to hold the polisher’s fitting in place.

3. Double-check that the splash guard is properly attached, or you’ll end up in a puddle of water..

This was something I had to learn the hard way.

The only issue I had was that the Velcro came loose from the rotating plate, which was easily fixed. When I contacted the seller, he responded quickly and sent me a new replacement right away. I was really taken aback by it.

There are few things that can compete with the combination of polishing pads and a fully functional, properly grounded stone polisher when it comes to value for money. I would strongly recommend this product.
