I doubt you’ll cut 26mm Oak either straight or square with a jigsaw. Cut outs and scribes I’d do with a 1/2 inch bit in the 1/2 inch router running against a template made from 6mm MDF. Remove the waste first, you really don’t want to try plunging through the middle of a 1 inch oak top with a router – trust me on that! WIth oak I’d prefer to cut on the side I’ve marked out on, be that the top or bottom.
I assume a table saw blade IMO any new blade will do it, I inherited a Silverline 40 tooth blade 235 dia and it cut through some 100mm oak without trouble four times over a 1m length after that it was pretty well spent, re-sharpened and put in the draw about a year ago and has not seen the light of day since. I would use a router if poss – much cleaner and squarer cut. Using a router to clean edges is fine, but doing a 40mm cut with it is a lot to ask…..
