Buy With 120 Drum Sander Sanding Sleeves and 12 Drum Mandrels for Dremel Rotary Tool, AUSTOR 132 Piece Sanding Drum Set width="280"

Includes 120 pieces of sanding bands in three diameters: 1/2″, 3/8″ and 1/4″; and 12 pieces of shank sanding drum in three diameters: 1/2″, 3/8″ and 1/4.”

Essential: 120 grit sanding bands are the most common and standard size. They are used to smooth surfaces and curved edges, polish both soft and hard materials, like home improvement, art, and woodwork.

Drum mandrels with self-expanding rubber cushions make it easy to attach the sanding bands to the mandrel and get a better finish. If the sanding band comes loose from the mandrel while you’re using it, make sure the drum is screwed tight and wears close to the sleeve.

There may be flying grits when the sanding drum turns at high speed, so you should wear professional safety glasses to protect your eyes. The sanding drum will move faster on metal surfaces, so you should change the sleeves as soon as possible to get the best results.

Bonus: They come with a free plastic box that makes it easy to store and get things.

When I was sanding with my Dremel, I was going through all of my Dremel-brand sanding drums pretty quickly.
For the same price as six Dremel sanding drums, I found this kit and was amazed. I could get 55 new madrels and different sizes for the same price.
It looked too good to be true, but I thought it was worth a try.
It doesn’t matter how long they last, because there are so many of them.
The bad news is that not only did they not last as long, but they did not last at all.
In less than five seconds, the drum would tear open and fly off the Dremel.
When it happened the first time, I thought it was because I didn’t tighten it enough, or I held the drum at an angle that wasn’t good.
When the second and third did the same thing, I stopped.
I went through the trash and found my used Dremel drums. I used the drums to finish my job.
Turns out that the cardboard back of the generic drums was much thinner than the cardboard back of the drums made by Dremel.
Also, they were a safety risk. If I had worn glasses, one of the drums would have hit my eye.

In a good way, my old sanding drum mandrel was the same one I’ve had for years, but it was getting old. At least I have some new ones now.
They also aren’t as good as my original Dremel mandrel, which is made of rubber instead of plastic. I used one of the new ones with the old sanding drums all day and it worked well.
In the end, at least it wasn’t a complete waste of time and money.
