Dust collection kit no.2 expands on the concept of our previous dust collection kits by including all of the hosing, clamping hardware, hoods, and fittings required for connecting two woodworking machines to a dust collector. A blast gate regulates the amount of air that gets to each machine. The kit includes comprehensive instructions and can be customized even further by incorporating our other dust collection accessories (list enclosed in each box).
This is a reasonable starter kit for a small home shop – and the price is reasonable considering what you get. My recommendation is that you use a longer hose because the 10′ hose is actually quite short. To begin, sketch out your shop layout, taking into consideration the hose routing, and double-check that everything you want to connect is within 10 feet of your dust collector. The only other option is to have the hose on the floor because 10′ is not long enough to reach the ceiling and then back down again in this situation.
