If you still have the old-style screw-on Wooster poles, this is a must-have. In the 17 years I’ve been painting, I’ve only had two of these break, and I use them almost every day. When they do, it slows down work. In my opinion, this is a replacement part made by the same company that made the one that came with the pole. It’s made of the same metal as the one that came with the pole. A better-quality piece of steel costs 75 cents more, but that’s not a big deal. I’d be willing to pay for it. Maybe two breaks in 17 years isn’t bad.
