This little shop vac is great. Small, but powerful. I bought it mostly because I didn’t want to use my Shark to clean up some messes on the floor. Over the years, I have had the Shark Lift Away and the Shark Navigator Deluxe, both of which cost $400 or more, and two Shark Pet Handheld Vacs. Burned out the motor in my Shark Life Away when I vacuumed baking soda from the floor and then used the machine. Having a “warning label” would be a good idea. It doesn’t matter how many HEPA filters you have. Fine powder will get through and clog the motor, no matter how many you have. I bought this shop vac because I didn’t want to mess up my other Shark Vac. If I could, I would have bought this shop VAC years ago. And the price: $48 vs $400. This thing has so much suction that it almost pulled the carpet up from the floor, and you can vacuum up anything from fine powder like baking soda to bigger pieces of dirt. I still can’t believe how great it is. To keep my big Shark safe, I bought this. This shop vac is going to be used for everything. My Shark is now in the closet. There is still no way I can believe how strong the suction power is. I’ve had two other shop vacs, both of which were brand names, and they didn’t compare at all. One of them had wheels and kept tipping over. I like this one because it stands on the ground. Wet vacs can also be used. I might buy another one in case they stop making this model. I’m old and disabled, so I couldn’t use my Shark because it was too heavy for me. This little shop vac is very light. For me, the vacuum is now a thing. Small, but I don’t mind. When I first bought it, I used it to clean up the mess from replacing some flooring. I didn’t need anything bigger. Wasn’t even going to use it anymore, but WOW. How great this thing is can’t be said enough. It is now the only vacuum cleaner I own :. I still can’t believe how strong this thing can be.
A new date has been added: 12.27-2. So much that I bought another. However, I’m not sure if fine dust blows out the back. A lot of fine dust seems to be coming out of the back. Any ideas on how to make it better. Because it’s a shop vac, it doesn’t have a HEPA filter, so that’s why.
