For small projects around the house, I love this small, light-weight drill (WORX WX101L.9) because it has a clutch and low-torque settings that I can use for small to delicate projects. The real reason I bought this model was to screw screws into delicate, thin wood in the shop (FYI: I use a bigger, more powerful drill to drill the pocket holes).
After I press the button to start drilling, I would have liked the LED light to stay on for a few seconds. I can see where I’m drilling and so on. In this way, I can see before I start drilling something. A lot of the bigger drills have this feature. If this one did, it would have been a perfect score, but I’m not sure. 4 out of 5 stars.
I got the Tool Only version because I prefer to use their power tools with only their 4.0Ah batteries and the fast 1 hr charger. I think that is the best way to run these tools and charge their batteries. If I had to wait more than 5 hours to charge a battery or something like that, it would be a very bad experience.
