3/8″ and 1/4″ anvils can be switched out for more versatility.

The powerful motor can deliver 35 ft.lbs of Max Torque, which is a lot of power.

Versatile speed (0-800 RPM) for a wide range of fastening jobs.

Electric brakes for more productivity

During times when the motor is not running, this tool can be used as a hand ratchet.

Style:Ratchet

18V LXT Cordless 3/8″ / 1/4″ Square Drive Ratchet (XRW01Z, tool only) is used to loosen nuts and remove nuts from bolts. It can also be used to remove the nut from the bolt.
This ratchet comes with interchangeable 3/8″ and 14″ anvils for more options.

For many different types of fastening jobs, the powerful Makita-built motor can deliver 35 ft-lbs of Max Torque and has a variable speed (0-800 RPM) so you can get the job done quickly.
An electric brake boosts productivity.

Operator fatigue is reduced because the device is lightweight and easy to use.
The low-profile design makes it easier to work in small spaces and on top of things.

A built-in L.E.D. light makes the work area brighter.
When the motor isn’t running, the ratchet can be used by hand.

It’s part of Makita’s growing 18V LXT System, which is the world’s largest cordless tool system that runs on 18V lithium-ion slide-style batteries and has more tools than any other brand.
Charge times for batteries made by Makita® are the fastest in their class. This means that they spend more time working and less time waiting for the batteries to charge.

For better tool performance and longer battery life, Makita came up with Star Protection Computer ControlsTM.
Star Protection is a type of communication technology that allows a Star Protection-equipped tool and battery to exchange data in real time and keep an eye on things while they’re being used to make sure they don’t get too hot, get too full, or get too low.
For more versatility, the tool can also be powered by Makita 18V LXT Lithium-Ion Batteries with the star symbol on the battery. This means that the battery has Star Protection inside.

This is now my favorite tool.
I have a lot of makita tools, and I love the lxt platform because it can run both 18V and 36V from the same battery.
I was afraid to buy this because of the price.
When I was a beginner and didn’t know how to do things like this, I thought it wasn’t worth it.
I’m glad I got it, and I love it.
Some time ago I bought an angle impact driver. I get annoyed because it always seems to be too much or not enough for me.
As long as you don’t press the button, this one locks.
It’s also a lot less heavy.
Many times I can use this instead of my ratchet. When I need a shorty, those are the times I can’t.
When you can break the nut then turn it off, or turn it on and then tighten it by hand, it’s great. This is a good thing.
Non-professionals might find this to be a nice thing to have.
if I were working on my 10ths, this would be a time machine that would help me get there faster.
You might want to buy this if you already have the LXT system. I haven’t used any other power ratchets to compare it to.
Even if it has a 5ah battery on it, it isn’t too big, even though it is.
This does not have the power of an impact wrench, or even an impact driver, so don’t expect it to.
However, that isn’t the point of this.
Suppose you can only get three clicks from the ratchet in that area, so think about that nut.
Until you can do it by hand.
Then you take it off so you can finish by hand when the ratchet will slow you down.
This tool might be too small for this job.
But once you give it just enough to break it, then you press the button.
When the nut is free, let go.
People who don’t like having to remove or install nuts and bolts should buy one of these.

To sum up, it would be great to have a place to store the other anvil.
If it was easier to change them, too, that would be even better
