It will hold a grinding wheel in your drill while you work on it. However, there are a couple of things to keep in mind.
1. The mandrel is much thinner than the mandrel found on a die grinder, and there is no adapter to use with it. Consequently, best of luck in getting the wheel perfectly centered and free of any wobble. Personally, I designed and built my own adapter.
2. Your drill might be moving too quickly for some wheels. Make certain that you understand the exact RPM speed in each mode so that you don’t overrun the wheel and cause it to break on you accidentally. The majority of drills will work fine in first or low speed mode. However, those looking to use this with high-end drivers may have difficulty finding wheels that are fast enough.
